Rehoming American Bulldog in Knoxville, TN

Bernie is a beautiful 2 year old brindle American Bulldog. He is energetic, docile, curious, and a loving boy. He enjoys playing with other dogs as well as human attention.He is dog friendly, crate trained and house broken. He loves to chew on bones and chew toys. He is shy around others and hesitant to strangers. Once he warms up to you he becomes your little shadow. He is very loyal and funny with such a silly personality. Bernie loves to give big kisses and bear hugs. He has a smile that is hard to forget and soft brown eyes that will make you melt. Due to lack of formal training he needs a training collar on at all times and consistent leash training. He is a lap dog, completely unaware of his size. He has never been exposed to children. I have cats and Bernie loves to stare at them but hasn't grasped the "gentle giant" factor quite yet. He has such a puppy mindset he forgets he is big! I have fostered Bernie for two years and it is important to me that he goes to someone who is patient and kind. He deserves the very best! I am relocating and need to find him a permanent home.
