1965 BMW R71 (Chang Jiang M1M)

The R71 is unique in all the world for having the longest production run of any vehicle, 76 years and still counting! From 1938 until today it has been in nearly constant production. First produced as the BMW R[removed phone]), then in Russia as the M[removed phone]), and lastly China (1957-today) as the Chan Jiang 750 (as models M1, M1M, and M1S). While the design has evolved slightly, especially as each country began their production run, it remains firmly 1930?s/1940?s technology, with some parts interchangeable with the original R71.The body is overall above average for age, lacquered black paint with normal wear and tear for a bike this age, slight dent on lower left front of tank. There is a small rip in the rear passenger rubber seat. Interior of the side car is nice but has a warn rubber mat with a tear. The bike and side car has won several trophies as is at car and bike shows.I do not believe these are the original miles, but the odometer now reads 9298.
